Our Company
Our operations began because of a demand for salt during Connecticut’s rough winters. When owner Yves Ouellette put up a tent in his backyard to stockpile some supply for his 42-year-old snow removal business, friends began to ask for if they too could use it and the small tent quickly became a large one. In 2016, Silver City Material & Supply was started to provide contractors and consumers with products and supplies for all types of landscaping projects.
The store location, which opens early every day for commercial clients that need to pick-up their supplies for the day, also includes a small office and a large yard with all products. Customers can stop in and visually see the supplies they’ll be purchasing as well as take samples if needed. Our welcoming staff is always on-site to offer help as well as recommendations for our commercial customers that can assist with completing projects.
